Specsavers Optometrists - North Sydney

I don't usually enjoy going to choose new glasses (hence my last ones in 2019 & scratched), however today was a very please experience at Specsavers. All staff were super friendly & keeping strict Covid hygiene standards 👍 In particular Jun & Johnathan (The store manager) were extremely professional & lovely to chat too. Looking forward to my new State of Art titanium glasses/ lenses 🤓 10/10

Great service, very friendly. However the advice regarding the multifocal lenses was not entirely accurate. I ordered long, mid distance and computer work. They are great to have a focus from near to far BUT: The breadth of vision of the glasses were terrible for reading, I kept having to turn my head for text to remain in focus - absolutely unusable for large screen, having continually move your head to follow a line. Impossible to use. The breadth of vision was also poor for driving. When you are on the road, you use your eyes to spot danger and avoid accidents, also looking into the rear vision mirror or side mirror to monitor traffic. To do this with multifocal, you have to turn your head to see, which means to change lanes, you need to turn your head then focus, turn your head to see the rear vision then focus, meanwhile not having a clear view of the traffic ahead. Eyes move much faster than your head, therefore I find this dangerous and unusable.

He is absolutely professional and very thorough as he took me through a series of tests, explaining everything each step of the way, great experience all round, highly recommended! Currently, issues persist with refunds through Medibank, despite the website's endorsement of Specsavers. To streamline this process, it is recommended to include the optometrist's number, making the refund procedure more efficient and user-friendly.

Good morning.. I need to asking help for my miss understanding about customer right.. 2 weeks ago @ specsavers greenwood plaza My partner he is 77 years old He checked his eyes and choose frame This morning 9 am he came to collect it And tried.. And he said ‘ it’s uncomfortable at all..” I saw Glasses look thicker then usual he wearing every day But She push him frequently And Nonstop to push my partner accept it She said To trying for couple days And My partner refused it many times too till become tempted!! And Made him impatient ( he wearing glasses morethan 50 years must be knowing well comfy or uncomfy ) Manager came on 10 am We back to meet him I saw his face look hold angry He started with 2 questions : 1. why you can’t accept this glasses ? We said uncomfy 2. Why you made my coweker Cried I said NONE SUDDENLY SHOUTED WITHOUT CAUSE !! You are become manager must be stand between customers and your cowoker He said I am not.. But You listened one side and blame my partner only The manager Focus at the shout and not the cause I need to know Is it right to push customer accept it the things that isn’t comfort. ? Then Replied same words and pushed and made tempted customers ? We left glasses @store If Their services are right I will forget it.. Thanks much for your time and advise..
